Vox has said that the book link with amazon should be working again on Oct 15. I miss the ease of putting a book post in.
Normally when I get craft books I don't "read" them. I flip through them, I peruse them, and I look at the pictures. Occasionally though, I will come across a craft book so good that I will actually "read" it. The ones I read I do add into my book total for the year.
Home, paper, scissors: decorative paper accessories for the home - Amazing book! The projects all look fairly easy but beautiful. Mobiles, clocks, flowers, bowls, frames and more. If you wanted to decorate on a budget this is the book for you... a beautiful mobile made from paper, embroidery hoop and beading string...maybe $5... and this simple project could be a focal point for a room. I would say not for homes with children because they are made out of paper... but I guess you could look at the fact that if the kids destroy it (like mine do) it is not expensive to replace. Loved this book! *****
Sew What Bags - A really neat book about making your own bags... tote bags, purses, pouches, laundry, etc... The awesome thing about this book is that it tells you how to create your own patterns based on your needs. I am not at this point in my sewing but when I gain more confidence in my sewing abilities I will be rereading this book and creating unique bags for EVERY aspect of my life!
